Cheerleading Registration
Our program is directed as a game day sideline cheer program with different Competition opportunities for each level. Your child will be taught all the skills, fundamentals and tumbling associated with sideline cheer. Along with choreographed routines for halftime and homecoming performances. Other choreographed routines are learned during cheer competition if you choose to participate.
Ages
Team roster assignments will be determined once registration has closed!!! There will be initial roster spots available for up to 10 athletes of each grade level, additional roster spots may become available. Grades listed are based on the athletes grade for as of August 2025.
Kindergarten: Mascots - 6 spots available
First Grade: 10 spots available
Second Grade: 10 spots available
Third Grade: 10 spots available
Fourth Grade: 10 spots available
Fifth Grade: 10 spots available
Sixth Grade: 10 spots available
Seventh Grade: 10 spots available
Eighth Grade: 10 spots available
When
Cheer practices will start the week of July 21st 2025 and the season will run through mid November.
We will have an optional preseason conditioning camp the week before practices star.
Where
All of our practices* and home games are held at Ron Kaleta Field!!! Our home field which is located at 15610 Long Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452.
*Local indoor practice space may be acquired throughout the season which would result in a location change for practices. This information would be communicated as soon as it becomes available.
Practices
Practices are TBD. The practice schedules are determined by the respective teams Head Coach.
Games
The SWMFL allows the hosting team/town to decide when the game is played. League games are played on either Saturday or Sunday depending on the hosting team.
Our Home Games are played on Saturday's!!!
Extra Costs

$300 Post-dated check for Uniform deposit***
$300 Post-dated check for Volunteer deposit*** (Each family is required to volunteer 4hrs per family)
***Note these deposits must be made in the form of a check. These checks will not be cashed, unless the uniform is not returned at the end of the season or your volunteer time is not completed.***
UNIFORMS
Each cheerleader will be issued a cheer vest, liner and skirt. Those items must be returned at the end of the season.
Parents are responsible for providing:
- Solid Black, no show socks
- Shoes
- Kindergarten through 6th Grade - Solid black, low top, gym shoes (NO white/colored soles, designs, logos, laces, NO Converse or slip ons)
- 7th & 8th Grade - Solid Black, low top, CHEER Shoes
Cheerleaders will be fitted for the following items and are theirs to keep at the end of the season. The fees listed are in addition to the Registration Fee and are due at the time of fitting.
- Warmups - Includes: Warm up jacket, pants, and backpack
- $125 (New Cheerleaders)
- $65 Jacket (size re-order)
- $50 pants (size re-order)
- $25 bag
- Uniform Add Ons - Includes Sports Bra & Cheer Shorts
- Required for All 2025 Season Cheerleaders
- $50 estimated maximum cost, actual final cost will be determined and communicated by fittings

2025 Fall Season Cheer Registration!!!
Prior to completing registration for your athlete please make sure you've reviewed all of the Cheer Information provided under the "Programs" tab of this website. If "Add to Waitlist" is the only option available when proceeding to the next page that means we have reached our current limit for your Athlete's age group. We encourage you to still register on the wait list, we will reach out if/when additional spots become available.
If your Cheerleader will participate in another Cheer program during our season, they only qualify to be a Sideline Cheerleader, the only exception is if their other program is part of the school they attend.
For the 2025 Season the following registration options are available:
Kindergarten through 6th Grade - Sideline Only:
- Attendance required at all regular season and playoff games.
- Sideline Only athletes will have a reduced practice schedule.
- Early Bird Registration: $225 per cheerleader
- Late Registration: $300 per cheerleader
Kindergarten through 6th Grade - Sideline & Competition:
- Attendance required at all regular season and playoff games.
- Participation in ONE competition - SWMFL League Competition, date TBD.
- Early Bird Registration: $225 per cheerleader
- Late Registration: $300 per cheerleader
7th & 8th Grade - Sideline Only:
- Attendance required at all regular season and playoff games.
- Sideline Only athletes will have a reduced practice schedule.
- Early Bird Registration: $225 per cheerleader
- Late Registration: $300 per cheerleader
7th & 8th Grade - Sideline & Competition:
- Attendance required at all regular season and playoff games.
- Participation in THREE competitions * SWMFL League Competition
* (2) ICA Competitions
* All Competition Dates TBD, to be communicated as soon as they become available.
* Additional State Fee of $170.00 per Cheerleader if the Team earns a Bid to State.
- $120 of the Registration Fees listed below are specifically associated with Competition registration fees and are due at the time of registration, even if a payment plan is selected.
- Early Bird Registration: $345 per cheerleader
- Late Registration: $420 per cheerleader
